If you’re thinking about a new sink or even a brand new kitchen, there’s no getting around the question of the cabinets and what size they should be. Their dimensions play an important role when deciding which sink model to buy – because the model you want can only be installed if the cabinet is big enough. The size of the sink tells you how large the cabinet needs to be.
Kitchen cabinet dimensions are largely standardised and generally range between 40cm and 120cm wide, or 16 and 36 inches. Our online and print catalogues can help you decide on the width of cabinet you need for any of our models. The widths specified there are minimum dimensions – of course a sink that fits into a 40cm cabinet can also be accommodated in larger kitchen units. So there’s nothing standing in the way of you getting a sink that is perfectly adapted to your individual space and needs.
